PEOPLE MOVES

InMobi appointed Stuart Bartram as VP of brand solutions and programmatic for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa (APMEA). He was most recently MediaMath’s Australia and New Zealand country manager, and was APAC MD at Rubicon Project prior to that. 

Publicis Communications appointed Fabienne Balleux as general manager of Luminous Experiential MSLGroup in Singapore. She has more than 15 years of experience in event, out of home and experiential display management, and was previously events director of multi-services agency OConnection in Paris.

Flip Soree joined Avantgarde in Shanghai as chief creative officer, overseeing a team of 25 that just won BMW’s Destination X pitch. He was previously with CIG Interactive in Beijing as global creative director for two years.

Ogilvy & Mather promoted Mickey Chak (翟永康) to chief strategy officer for Greater China. He was previously in the agency’s chief planning role in the mainland for more than a decade.

Clement Yip (叶慈平), ex-CEO of Proximity Greater China, took up a new challenge at PwC’s Experience Centre as its partner for China and Hong Kong.

Zheng Yu (郑瑜) has departed the media and marketing industry to go into entrepreneurship, co-founding a startup called Soundwave. Previously at Zenith China, she held on to her group planning director position for almost four years.

Lisa Wang (王悦) has been promoted to public relations director for the Ritz-Carlton and JW Marriott Hotel groups in Beijing. She worked her way up from being a public relations manager at just the Ritz-Carlton Beijing property.

Fabian Kietzmann relocated back to Duesseldorf to be chief strategy officer and managing director at MediaCom Germany. He was the agency’s chief digital officer for China for slightly more than two years.

Lisa Guo (郭琳) has been promoted to general manager of client development from director of national client service at Xaxis China.

From digital transformation director of Mead Johnson Nutrition in China, Vivian Yeh (叶心薇) has been promoted to head of digital and CRM at the company.

BUSINESS WINS

Dragon Rouge Singapore was assigned global branding and advertising duties for hospitality brand Bawah. Positioned as a rare ecosystem experience, Bawah is a protected archipelago located between Singapore and Kalimantan in the Anambas Islands.

In Singapore, PR Communications won strategic-communications business from Three Legs Cooling Water (under the Wen Ken Group), and Pazzion.

In Sydney, Text100’s newly launched consumer marcom division, HyperText, has been appointed by two new brands: TEDxSydney and the Immunisation Coalition. TEDxSydney, appointed HyperText to deliver PR, social-media strategy and influencer marketing support, while The Immunisation Coalition engaged the agency for an integrated PR, experiential and social campaign.

OTHER NEWS

Warc released the shortlist for its Warc Innovation Awards. BBDO Bangkok, PHD Taiwan, DDB Mudra Group, PHD India, McCann Australia and Saatchi & Saatchi Australia represent the region on the list. The winners will be announced at the end of April.
